Before joining CMU, I was working as a Founding Engineer at an AI Stealth Startup. Before that, I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis with highest honors from the College of Engineering, completing my degree in just 3 years while participating in the University Honors Program. My professional journey has been shaped by impactful internship experiences at companies like New York Life Insurance (Data Strategy and Governance), Coupa Software (AI Center of Excellence), Risk and Safety Solutions (Core AI), Mesh Communities, and SchedGo among others. I've been fortunate enough to work under some exceptional faculty members (Dr. Seth Frey, Dr. Ali Moghimi, and Dr. Hamed Pirsiavash among others) on some hard research problems during my time here at UC Davis, some of which materialized into publications and others added to my learning.

Leadership and community service have been constant threads throughout my journey. From serving on the school council in my early years to my other roles, I've always been driven by a vision of creating positive impact through education and community building. At UC Davis, I had the privilege of leading organizations like Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC), CodeLab, and SacHacks, each experience reinforcing my belief in the power of community-driven learning. This passion for education and community building also led me to hosting multiple workshops, events, teaching a self-curated upper-division undergraduate course and delivering several talks. I also founded We Connect Us, a peer-to-peer collaboration platform, which was my (second official) startup venture. Through these experiences, I've learned that true leadership isn't just about guiding others – it's about creating environments where people can grow, learn, and thrive together.

Beyond my professional work, I find fulfillment in music, philosophical exploration, and traveling. Playing guitar and singing helps me unwind and channel my creativity, while exploring new places broadens my perspective and enriches my understanding of different cultures. I believe some of the best learning happens through thoughtful dialogue with people from diverse backgrounds, whether it's during my travels or engaging in philosophical discussions about life's deeper questions. These activities keep me balanced, grounding me as I navigate the challenges of both my career and personal growth. Whether it's through thoughtful dialogue, sharing travel stories, or a quiet moment of reflection, I'm constantly formulating my thoughts, learning and evolving, not just as a professional, but as an individual. If you're a fellow music enthusiast, especially into Bollywood, a travel buff, or just someone who enjoys deep conversations or would just like to chat about anything in general, please feel free to contact me.
